Welcome to the Foundation Phase!
This is your Pre-Schooler’s first official phase of their school career. Here we develop skills such as responsibility, self-discipline, time management, and learn the basis of their literacy and mathematical abilities.
By encouraging our learners to get accustomed to the school routine and environment, we set the groundwork for the rest of their school years. Your Pre-School child is absorbing everything they see and hear, which is why our facilities are tailored to growing minds and bodies.
We aim to teach beyond the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy, but also to refine gross and fine motor skills, communication skills, creativity, and leadership skills. We firmly believe in the importance of feedback and parental involvement and hold termly parent/teacher meetings and assessment/feedback reports. As your child grows, so do their developmental needs, and we are here to guide you and your child every step of the way, as we progress from toddlerhood into childhood.
Grade RRR
Our Grade RRR program is designed to allow your child to comfortably settle into the school environment and build a strong foundation for their academic and social-emotional development. By emphasizing routine, learning through play, language, and self-confidence, we build on what they learnt during toddlerhood. Teachers and Teacher Aides in each class ensure quality time and attention is given to each child’s individual needs. Healthy, child appropriate snacks and freshly prepared meals are provided every 2 hours to ensure your growing child gets all their nutrients.
Fun classroom activities incorporating lessons such as Music, Art and Movement allows your child to explore their abilities and interests. Plenty of supervised outdoor playtime and exploration with different mediums (sand, grass, bikes, sensory tables etc.) in their own playground geared towards their age and level, and a midday nap allows your child to learn, grow and develop into a well-rounded and independent Pre-Schooler.

Grade RR
Our Grade RR program works closely with our Grade R program, with the goal of preparing your child for Primary School. We continue to build on skills and abilities already learnt, and start incorporating reading, writing and arithmetic to allow your child to enter Primary School with their best foot forward.
By introducing homework tasks and visits to our library, your child will gain a sense of responsibility and independence. More in-depth assessments and reports are done termly so we can closely monitor each child’s progress, and work on areas which need more focus.

Grade R
Our Grade R program follows a typical Primary School schedule, while paying extra attention to solidifying your child’s grasp of English, Numeracy, as well as time management, critical thinking and problem solving.
The goal in Grade R is to prepare your child for “Big School”, and all its challenges while still in the safe and loving environment they have grown up in. We continue to build on skills and abilities already learnt, and start incorporating reading, writing and arithmetic to allow your child to enter Primary School with their best foot forward.
By introducing homework tasks and visits to our library, your child will gain a sense of responsibility and independence.
