Baby Nursery

Our Baby Nursery runs on its own routine – Baby -Led. Your baby’s day at school is structured to allow Baby to comfortably settle in to school and build a foundation of trust with his/her caregivers. Small groups allow individual care and attention for Baby, with stimulation, songs, stories, outdoor time, and messy play. Baby’s day is documented in their own notebook, indicating all nappy changes, snacks, and meals.

Tailored menus for each baby, accounting for allergies and age, grows with Baby as they start new foods. Baby’s milestones and growth are closely tracked with a termly feedback report and discussed at a parent/teacher meeting, and open communication ensure mom and dad are always kept informed and are an important part of Baby’s day while they are at work.

Toddler Group

Our Toddler Group is split into 2 classes (1 year – 2 years, and 2 years – 3 years) to allow your toddler to enjoy pre-school at their level.

Our focus at this stage is to start preparing your child for their Foundation Phase of school (Grade RRR and up) while giving your toddler the freedom to interact safely with the world around them. By emphasizing routine, learning through play, and self-confidence, your toddler will begin developing skills to take them through their schooling years.

We nurture all aspects of your toddler – their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Teachers and Teacher Aides in each class ensure quality time and attention is given to each child’s individual needs. Healthy, child appropriate snacks and freshly prepared meals are provided every 2 hours to ensure your growing toddler gets all their nutrients.

Plenty of supervised outdoor playtime and exploration with different mediums (sand, grass, bikes, etc) in their own playground geared towards their age and level, and a midday nap allow your toddler to learn, grow and develop into a well-rounded and independent Pre-Schooler.

  • 06:15 – 08:00 Arrival time and Indoor Free Play
  • 08:00 – 08:45 Breakfast and Potty Training
  • 08:45 – 09:15 Morning Ring (Discussion, Songs, Colors, Numbers, Shapes etc.)
  • 09:15 – 09:45 Class work (Music Ring/ Movement Ring)
  • 09:45 – 10:15 Potty Training & Morning Snack (Fruit/Veggie Fingers/Biscuit and Tea)
  • 10:15 – 11:30 Small Group Time (Workbooks, Art)
  • 11:30 – 12:15 Lunch Time and Potty Training
  • 12:15 – 14:00 Story and Nap Time
  • 14:00 Half- Day Home time
  • 14:30 Afternoon Snack (Sandwich and Juice)
  • 15:00 – 16:00 Free Play & Get Ready for Home time
  • 16:00 – 18:00 Free Play & Home time collection
